An independent reporter is asking people across Delhi to document what happens in their own area, and people outside Delhi to save and send footage.एक स्वतंत्र पत्रकार दिल्ली के लोगों से कह रहे हैं कि अपने इलाके में जो हो रहा है उसे दर्ज करें, और दिल्ली से बाहर के लोग वीडियो सहेजकर भेजें।
01 If you live near these areas (10 October)अगर आप इन इलाकों के पास रहते हैं (10 अक्टूबर)
Looking to connect with locals around:इन इलाकों के आसपास के लोगों से जुड़ना चाहते हैं:
- Because of movement restrictions across Delhi, only locals can be on the ground. Report from your own area, a place you know well.दिल्ली में आने-जाने पर रोक है, इसलिए सिर्फ़ स्थानीय लोग ही मौके पर रह सकते हैं। अपने ही इलाके से रिपोर्ट करें, जिसे आप अच्छी तरह जानते हैं।
- A phone with a decent camera is enough.ठीक-ठाक कैमरे वाला फ़ोन काफ़ी है।
- A press card template will be shared. Print it and carry it.प्रेस कार्ड का टेम्पलेट भेजा जाएगा। उसे प्रिंट करके साथ रखें।
- Contributors will be paid an honorarium from a crowdfund.योगदान देने वालों को क्राउडफ़ंड से मानदेय मिलेगा।
- Prior reporting experience helps but isn't required.रिपोर्टिंग का अनुभव हो तो अच्छा है, पर ज़रूरी नहीं।

02 If you're not in Delhi but want to helpअगर आप दिल्ली में नहीं हैं पर मदद करना चाहते हैं
- 1Download videos of detentions, police violence or anything important, and save them before they're taken down.हिरासत, पुलिस हिंसा या किसी भी ज़रूरी घटना के वीडियो डाउनलोड करें, और हटाए जाने से पहले सहेज लें।
- 2Email a copy to [email protected] with [email protected] in CC.एक कॉपी [email protected] पर ईमेल करें और CC में [email protected] डालें।
- 3If the file is too large, upload it to Google Drive and email the link.फ़ाइल बहुत बड़ी हो तो Google Drive पर अपलोड करें और लिंक ईमेल करें।
- 4Put the date and location of the incident in the subject line, and the source link in the email body.सब्जेक्ट में घटना की तारीख़ और जगह लिखें, और ईमेल में वीडियो का मूल लिंक डालें।
03 Stay safe while documentingदर्ज करते समय सुरक्षित रहें
- Keep the original file untouched and send copies. The original's time and place data is what makes it credible.मूल फ़ाइल को न छेड़ें, कॉपी भेजें। मूल फ़ाइल में दर्ज समय और जगह से ही वह भरोसेमंद बनती है।
- Avoid filming the faces of other protesters where you can; footage can identify them. See Privacy and surveillance.जहाँ हो सके, दूसरे प्रदर्शनकारियों के चेहरे रिकॉर्ड न करें; वीडियो से उनकी पहचान हो सकती है। निजता और निगरानी देखें।
- An email address reveals who sent it. If that's a risk for you, send from an address that isn't tied to your name.ईमेल पते से पता चलता है कि किसने भेजा। अगर यह आपके लिए जोखिम है, तो ऐसे पते से भेजें जो आपके नाम से न जुड़ा हो।
